What Life GISWASTE Project is
Life programme
This 2011 video looks back at the achievements of the Life Environment Programme since it was founded in 1992. Since its launch, Life Environment has co-funded some 1840 projects across the EU, providing €1 billon to projects, in many fields, including resource efficiency, eco-products creation, climate change mitigation and adaptation, implementation of the Water Framework Directive, waste management or sustainable agricultural practices.
